Chariots of Fire Scene

Does anybody happen to have a URL address for the opening scene of Chariots of Fire? I'd kinda like to see this scene that I've heard so much about.

Its free to watch on Film4 (freeview channel 31) on Thursday 31st Aug and again on Tuesday 5th Sept at 1840. If I remember right, the scene of st andrews is at the very end of the film, not at the start.

No, I'm sure it's right at the start - they run along the beach and you can see the tower at the Quad, the Cathedral etc.

I just found a remake on Youtube:

Anyone know any of these punters?

Think it might very well be at the beginning and end of the film.

Having the DVD, I can say this:

The famous scenes are at both ends of the film (but one or two shots in the middle are filmed in St Andrews).

I've seen Chariots of Fire alot, it's one of my favorite movies. The west sands beach scene is in the beginning, but then they replay it at the end when the credits are rolling.
If you want to see it my advice is to see the whole film; it's really excellent.
