Location: Bobby Jones Place, St Andrews (near Morrisons), fifteen minutes walk from South Street.
What: Large bedroom in 1st (top) floor flat. The flat is five years old and has double-glazing throughout. The room has a double bed, desk, chair, large wardrobe, and a view over St Andrews towards the sea. Access to kitchen facilities is included but pots and pans etc. are not provided. You would be sharing the flat with a 27-year old member of university staff. The room would be suitable for a professional person (preferably a University employee) or possibly a PhD student. The flatmate should be considerate, fond of a quiet atmosphere, clean, tidy and regular in joint house duties, respectful of the other person’s privacy. The room is not suitable for those who want to stay up late regularly / be noisy / live a student-type lifestyle (you know what I mean). Additionally, the room is not suitable for music-haters as flat owner is a pianist and practises regularly (on the other side of the flat).
Conditions: Interview and written agreement to a set of (reasonable) house rules. No smoking or pets.
When: Entry from 1 February 2013 (an earlier date might also be possible
Rent: £400 per month plus shared bills: council tax, electricity, gas, stair cleaning etc.
