As posted earlier- I have a few leads, but currently no takers, so still available
I am graduating in June and thus my room in our cute little bungalow in the village of Balmullo (one mile inland of Guardbridge) is up for grabs.
What? Good-sized room in a newly renovated terraced bungalow. Rent £280 per month. Gas heating, brand new kitchen fitted last year, really clean and new throughout as the whole place was gutted and refitted just before we moved in. All mod cons - really good cooker, new washing machine, freezer, storage space, internet and phone line will already be set up, sky satellite could be reconnected if you want (we haven't reactivated it as no time to watch much TV, but it's there if you want!) microwave, etc. Has large stone garden to the back with shed (bike storage!) and outside clothes dryer.
Where? Balmullo. A small village near Guardbridge, has shop and pub. about a 30-40 min cycle from St Andrews, or approx. 12 min in a car, 15 to Dundee. There are regular buses throughout the day which leave two minutes walk from the front door (first is about 7 am, last is 12.40 at night back from st andrews, approx. every hour or half hour depending on time of day. There's also regular buses to and from Dundee). Very handy for Leuchars station too, road goes directly there from the village.
Who? We're both undergrads, and have enjoyed living here. It's handy and we've felt nice and centrally located, with Dundee, Cupar, and St Andrews within reach, plus the train station just down the road. There's a few other undergrads in the village. However, I'm guessing the room might interest postgrad students, and the room might be suitable for a couple, too (my flatmate wouldn't mind sharing with a couple and our landlord is easy-going, so this *may* be arrangeable if interested!). You'll be sharing with my current female flatmate, currently a second-year nursing student - outgoing and friendly, good fun - and tidy!
When? Negotiable! I'm looking to move out at the end of June, so if you wanted thehouse from 1st July, that'd be ideal. However, this is completely negotiable, if you want it earlier or later - give me a message and we can sort something out.
