I'm looking for a Postgrad student to take my place in my flat over the summer months. It's a university-managed property right in town on South Street. My room will become available on the morning of 20 May 2011, and the lease ends 5 September 2011. Rent is 135/week, not including gas/electric. (If 135 is out of your price range, I may be willing to help with costs.) It's a two bedroom flat (en-suite). I can vouch that the other occupant is clean, quiet, and friendly. It also has a shared kitchen / living room. The building is in very good condition with nice appliances - I think it was built or redone just about 2 years ago. If you need kitchen supplies, I'm willing to donate all of mine, since I'll be moving back to the States.

I've just emailed Student Accommodation Services to see if the university will allow you (as someone not matriculated with the University of St Andrews) to be a tenant in this building, since you are a postgraduate who will be working with the university. I hope to hear back from them soon. In the meantime if you could provide me with an email address so that if they do allow this, I can then send you a description and photos of the flat.

I wrote to accomodation services the last week, but they told me that, for the moment, there aren`t any room available. So I think that maybe there are not problem.
