To be fair, that page isn't linked off the exam timetable page... and it also doesn't say where the venue of my first exam (Arts Lecture Room) is...

Come on Will, you can't expect the University to keep things like that up to date. When that was written there was no Arts Lecture Room. Hopefully they'll get their act together with this new website.

Also: nicely done, iab2.

I have no idea where that is. I mean, why would I?

Because there are directions: http://www.st-andrews.ac.uk/registry/ex ... tions/view

Indeed, but I meant that when you first read your timetable, it is perfectly understandable that you might not know where any of the places are. It is also perfectly understandable that you might come to the Sinner to ask. I don't see why doing that instead of searching the uni website makes someone teh stupid. Are you upset that they're wasting your precious time by forcing you to make snarky replies on a web forum?

And I seem to remember someone asking for directions to a venue and being given the link to the uni's instructions, and it wasn't even on there!

etc.,etc.,etc.

Sorry, I was being facetious.

This question does come up year after year, though. Any thoughts on how to better disseminate the information than apparently half-complete and well-hidden webpages?

...but then again, that is only my opinion.

I have an exam in the Psychology Old Library and I have no idea where that is. I mean, why would I? I roll my eyes when people ask where rooms are and get two helpful replies and 15 'Omg this gets asked *every* time!!'s.

Go to the psygchology building in St Mary's Quad (blue gate in south street). Up the stairs.

My assumption is in the new arts building (just off the Scores, next to the library), but I could be wrong.

Oh I just had one in there, quite nice actually. Nice big (well not tiny) desk and comfy chairs. Plus it wasn't the Salad Bowl - a big upside.
