Hey, this is a bit of a Craigslist thing, but I figured I'd give it a shot on the Sinner:
An original adaptation of Orwell's '1984' is going up in Venue 1 November 27-30, and in addition to the show we are turning Venue 1 into an exhibit of poetry, art, photography, film, etc. Existing pieces and new pieces are both welcome, preferably around a theme of isolation, repression or free speech. Inklight is having a poetry competition and possibly slam poets, Rogue may do something, and we are in talking with Artsoc. However, I wanted to put an offer out there for any independent artists (And I don't just mean painting/drawing--Sculptors? Knitters? Thinking outside the box!) who have work that they are interested in showing. It's basically an offer to show your work to a large audience (think around 300) for free! Contact bs258 if you are interested--attaching a sample of your work would be much appreciated.
Brian (1984 Director)
