Those prices are outrageous. If they fill all the spaces in Chattan, DRH and Melville they are going to make a bloody fortune. Like a million quid.

The only mention I found of New Hall was under the 'additional nights' section:

'Accommodation prior to Monday 11 July and from Monday 18 July onwards is available in New Hall.'

About £40 for a single (not quite sure how that works, given that we all get double beds) and £60 for a double, including breakfast. Presumably New Hall is open to 'normal' people during the week, or they don't take on guests at all so the postgrads can get some sleep.

Call me cynical, but I think New Hall is probably reserved for some exclusive group. They charged £700ish for rooms there for the week last time, and with 500 rooms, they will not pass up on the additional revenue. Call me cynical if you like.
