it's generally a good idea to not kick people; you take yourself off balance and run the risk of being grounded. He can grab your leg and take you down, unless you're in with a quick enziguri (kick to the back of the head from your standing leg).

What has unnerved me in the past is the age of some of the agressive drunken bastards that lurk about this town.

I have nothing but total contempt for NEDS and if i was to be attcked by one, I would be confident in my place to fight back. Hard.
