Can anybody help me with 1.09. Have tried every combination and I just can't figure it out!

Line up SW and RM and the rest should fall into place (though to save you at least 15 combinations it's TA[P]ED).

I really can't get this to work for some reason. If SW and RM are lined up the TA and ED are not. Plus all the middle letters don't seem to form any kind of word.

Gah! Have lost all brain cells - help!

I got it! Oh thank God! That one has been killing me for ages. You should see the amount of paper I've gone through! Yes, SW and RM *do* line up, and you just have to take it from there.

Oh well, here comes number 10!

Yay, thank you! I'm so happy I don't even care that it's a complete non-word.

(and my apologies to Satine; that should have read TA[P]ES)

The title tells you what type of thing each line is describing. E.g., the first line is something mythological.

yes but what do you do with it after that?
[/i]

I think i must be really dim but i'm not getting 1.07 at all....
what on earth do the clues mean and what do you do ??
[/i]

It's basically 4 clues to one answer: if the poem were 'I am money/I am a sandwich ingredient/I am a thing you can do to stuff before frying it' the answer would be 'bread'.

To make it even more obvious, the mountains of the 'mountainous hands' are in Morocco.
Do those under a risk of death by metor run some thus-far indefinite risk of longrun meteorisation?

Think of what happens to people if they spend too long in the sun...and what would be the result if you removed the first letter of this word.

Think about what happens to your skin when you've been out in the sun too long.

Not a very comprehansive clue I know, but hopefully it helps!

Ah - thank you! Can't believe I missed that. Only problem is, now I cannot even begin to fathom out 13! So many lines and boxes...I don't know where to begin!

Thirteen is quite easy. Think about popular sayings between boxes. Start at the top left.

Anyone know the answer for the jewels one, 1.15 I think. Totally got me confussed. Tried everything that would literaly stop him from working.

I'm stuck on this one now:

Puzzle 7: Smile!
Puzzledonkey was straight faced. His friend stuck his tongue out at him, to try and cheer him up.

Puzzledonkey was hugely shocked by this uncalled for action. His friend grinned broadly at Puzzledonkey's response, and handed him a present.

What was it?

Anyone got any suggestions?

Ok, I think I've got most of 13, I just can't figure out the line that leads up to "man" or the one that runs from the top left corner down.

Any clues people?
