Cool shops in Glasgow

Postby little missy on Fri Nov 17, 2006 3:11 pm

I'm going for a birthday shopping spree and I reckoned Glasgow would be the best place within driving distance for cool, 'alternative' clothes shops. Can anyone tell me where they are?

I'll also be having some sort of celebratory alcohol-related pub-like drinking experience next weekend, at which I would love to see as many happy faces as possible. Time/place tbd.

If you want to be a label slave there's Cult and Flip and 2 Hellfires. (Cult is near the Queen Street Hellfire and Flip is near the West Nile Street one). There's also Osiris or Isis or something next to Cult.

There's more fun shops if you head down to Trongate, near the piercing studio. I'm not sure if Mr Benn's is still there, but there's Cyber and stuff.

Erm... that is all I can think of right now
