Fun things I did today

Postby Webbie on Wed May 18, 2005 7:19 pm

Instead of revising for my exam tomorrow, i did the following things today:

1. Put a bar of soap in the microwave.

2. Put grapes in the microwave.

3. Put every ingredient i have in the kitchen in a single glass, tasting bits of it trying not to throw up, in a game against my housemate.

4. Put an oxo cube in a mug, so it looked like a cup of coffee and gave it to another housemate, claiming it was a cup of coffee and watching the look on his face.

5. Set my laptop alight using petrol (don't worry, it was an old laptop and i did it outside).

6. Tried to make a bottle explode using a combination of bicarbonate of soda and vinegar.

and now i'm watching blackadder, what a fun day.

What other fun things are there to do around the house that people can suggest?

(note: everybody has thought of sex, masterbation, reading a book, working, watching films, listening/playing music. We need to some original suggestions)

I spent a pleasant afternoon arguing with Holocaust deniers on the Internet instead of revising for my exams. Theres too many distractions on this damn thing.

god rid of the chaff on my iPod, called my wee brothers, ate chicken O's with millions of tomato ketchup, painted my toenails, put fake tan on and updated JennyO's facebook wall to compliment her excellent signature. Oh, and went to Edinburgh with my flatmate and came home via Dundee.

Woke up, ate a large sandwich from a station, went to an interview, lied about ability, read The Information, ate more station sandwiches, had a long train journey, swore at a railway employee, got home, found mobile charger, got pint of water, am knackered. And now, new Simpsons.

Hmmm... original suggestions. Take off your shirt, write "I love the Parthenon" on your stomach in huge letters using red and blue biro, and run up and down the pavement outside your house in broad daylight yelling "I put my raspberry jam in the washing machine!" with a distressed look on your face.
Or you could just throw wet paper towels at the wall and see how many stick...

I too put grapes in the microwave following Webbie's suggestion. Did yours explode too? Can you tell how bored I am not having a job?

Haha, reminds me of the apocryphal lady who washed her poodle and put it in the microwave to dry it off.

Oh, I also went to the bookstore and found a book called 'Italy for the Gourmet Traveller' and am now dying to go back :(

Well, putting grapes in the microwave cause them to spark/explode. I don't know why and I don't know if there is a difference between green and red grapes.

Putting a bar of soap in the microwave makes it expand in a load of bubbles like a massive goo monster.

What about if you jab them with a fork first and put a little hole in them, do they still explode?

Conkers also explode in the microwave by the way.

And as I was picking me teeth out of the gutter St Peter hisself appeared to me and said, "Sean, you wanker" he said.
"Repent yer evil ways or sod off". The he gobbed in me face and turned back into a lampost.
