F secure anti virus

Hi,
This morning I installed IT services anti virus software, F secure, But since I have re started my comp it just freezes. Any ideas? Thanks

It did that to me and my flatamte last year-it totally fucked our computers up.

I have a new laptop now so I dont have any ideas to help, but try getting rid of it somehow?

it did that with me,so I now use norton 2005 and no problems so far (touch wood)

Get some freeware like Avast! Antivirus or AVG Free Edition. They do the same job, and don't eat your system up like Norton and F Secure do.

Try holding down F5 while Windows starts to boot into Safe Mode. Then try uninstalling F-Secure. If that fails, take it to ITS and see if they can fix it. Or there's a couple of other tricks to try, but they're a bit more complicated.
