Sea view or balcony?

I'm trying to decide on room preferences for next year. What in peoples experience is nicer, a sea view or a balcony? How cold do seaview rooms get in Sallies?

To be honest, i'd choose the front end. You can see when mates are visiting so you can run down and let them in, when it's sunny (or Sallies Day) it's nice to see everyone out on the grass, also you can see everyone getting water chucked over them after graduation, and you can see the Quad clock if you can't find your watch Plus, the back end is where deliveries come in and other than the sea there's not much else to see.

EDIT: Also, if you forget/lose your card, someone can chuck it out their window for you, and the back rooms tend to be smaller... Can you really specify where in the building you stay??

You can put room preferences. I'm going to put down C31,C28,C25,C32,C33 but I'm not sure in what order yet.

You can put down which rooms you would like and the warden will try to give everyone their first choice, but if not, then their second choice, third choice etc.

The people who already live in the room get priority over whoever else requests it, so you are pretty much guarenteed it, so long as you put it down as your first choice on your application.
