Has anyone heard about the temporary venue for PS2001 and PS1001

There is never a PS1001 lecture on a Tuesday so we will only be affected if the building isn't open by Wednesday.

Went to the union and the details aren't up there, so dont bother with that!

I've only been to the food place in the gateway- i didnt even know there was anywhere else in there! Lunch in the gateway seems the way forward tomorrow then...

this super computer must have been doing this EXTREME maths i've been hearing (look at the sign above the maths entrance) about in order to bugger up the electronics. or it met lars olson and got scared.

My thinking was this:

At some point on Saturday Lars Olson was going about his daily life, maybe moving some dirty dishes in the kitchen, perhaps feeding his child, or perhaps sitting down to invert some matrices (by his own exclamation, you would not do this on a Sunday afternoon, so Saturday is fair game). At somepoint soon after, just as the power cut out of Maths and Physics, he suddenly looked up with an insane, but determined, steely glint in his eye.

"The enemy is here" he said

Having said that: the Maths department seems to have been reduced to a big steaming pile of non-existance.

There is now a sign up in the union detailing the lectures for today. They helpfully left up a sign on the door from last night, however, saying they had no information. So the information WAS there this morning, but just inside.

Physics seem to have lectures on (I had one in St Marys) and the details are there, and on their website. It seems that maths honours lectures are cancelled today, but sub-honours appear to be running.

Also, the Curle Lecture seems to be in Purdie Theatre A instead of Physics A.

I was just there this morning. Saw the sign and gave up. How stupid.

Once upon a time in St Andrews
Some believe around the year, one-double nine-three.
Pure Mathematician of The Maths department Lars Olsen Was walking down the road
Contemplating whatever a man with Olsen's infinite power would contemplate
Which is another way of saying, who knows.
When, a undergraduate from JBH appeared on the road traveling in the opposite direction.

As the student and the Pure Mathematician crossed paths...
Lars Olsen in a practically unfathomable display of generosity
Gave the student the slightest of nods.
The nod, was not returned.

Now was it the intention of the student to insult Lars Olsen ?
Or, did he just fail to see the generous social gesture?
The motives of the student, remain unknown.
What is known, were the consequences.

The next morning Lars Olsen appeared at JBH,
And demanded that the Halls warden offer Lars Olsen his neck to repay the insult.
The Warden, at first, tried to console Lars Olsen, only to find, Lars Olsen was inconsolable.

So began, the massacre of the John Burnet Hall,
And all sixty of the students inside,
At the fists of the White Lotus.
And so began, the legend of Lars Olsen's Tiny Epsilon Enemy Technique.
