I would reccommend that you make a specific appointment with your new doctor to discuss this, and not try to raise them at the initial health check. When I went for my health check in first year, they asked far too many personal questions about things that had nothing to do with my medical health: t...

Re:

September - it's starting to get chilly so excuse for cuddling up to keep out the cold, but still warm enough to have fun outside. Pretty autumnal leaves, crackling fires, and still some light in the evenings.

I think the absolute best was watching Rob say variations of the phrase 'Gordon Brown sucks it' for a solid two minutes with such conviction. Real quality entertainment.

The real irony being that the floor speeches are often better due to originality rather than the IV debaters turning everything in to a debate we've all heard hundreds of times before

Re:

Oh please, were you actually at the AGM?

Well, yes, actually. That's kind of why I posted as I did. Were you yourself there? If so, who would you have had elected and, most importantly, why? All the positions seemed absolutely clear cut.

Re:

I find them most unwelcoming in there, as if we shouldn't be in there at all. I've had the same experience: I was waiting for a friend in there once, and had happened to finish my tea (which also tasted like pond water), as my friend was late. Then - like 2 minutes after I had finished the tea, and...

Re:

Also, as far as pubs go, you'd be surprised how many studenty pubs become really quite old-mannish/local when the students are away - I worked here over the summer, and there was this great old guy who would come into the Raisin every afternoon, have his half beer shandy (yes, that does exist), and ...

Even today, where before people learning the guitar played Beatles numbers, now the staple is Oasis (Wonderwall's piss easy). Can this, therefore, be directly blamed for the increased nuimber of clearly tone deaf louts producing poor Oasis imitations, which do little credit to the guitarists, and n...
