Re:

It's all based on the formal logic we've done so far, nothing from the informal logic part of the course. I'm guessing the questions will be similar to the tutorials ones we've been getting. You can get the recent handouts from Natasha's website on the Philosophy staff page.

Re:

I really like this comment taken from the Daily Mail article on the production: Rev Canon Dr Robert Gillies, of St Andrews Church, Queen's Gardens, said: 'It strikes me as bad taste as well as bad history. There is no evidence to suggest that Jesus Christ was homosexual or that his mother was an alc...

Re:

I'd say favourite series has to be Rurouni Kenshin, if I can assess purely based on the episodes up to the end of the Kyoto arc.

Favourite film is harder, because I generally find I enjoy anime films a lot less than series. It would probably be Spirited Away, in the end.

I may be showing complete ignorance but...

...what is it with everyone in town, yah and yah-wannabe alike, wearing the same blue and white striped scarf? It is a cult thing, or do people just like living as sheep?

Re:

My favourite series is called Gravitation. I think it's being released in the US in the next few months, but I saw it in the original Japanese fansubbed. I also like Fruits Basket. My favourite film is either Akira or Spirited Away.
