Don't worry about it. Just make sure you're as outgoing as possible and you'll make loads of friends! Get involved in some societies too- you'll be inundated with invites during fresher's week.

You should be able to register for classes and most everything else on the Student Portal. If you don't have your student ID yet (it should be on your accomodation and acceptance forms) you should e-mail the admissions people at the uni.
