In years past it was Linda Barker, but she seems to be much less present now.

More recently Myleene Klass...and Kate Garraway.

Quoting Rufus from 02:01, 8th Apr 2007 Seriously: why?! 25 people? Ugh. I can smell the stench of souls rotting from here. Have you *seen* the demographics of St Andrews students. Think of it as less of a disappointment and more as a fact of life... [hr] "its the best thing since instant mashed pot...

Re:

Quoting JohnQPublic from 18:23, 25th Mar 2007 In the old days the University was massively in debt, and getting worse. Also, if you don't like the fees, it's not like St Andrews Uni is the only university in the country. You chose to come here, and I am sure there are other comparable institutions ...

Re:

Quoting exnihilo from 15:05, 11th Mar 2007 We don't do so well on voting on merit in the rest of the UK either. It's become a case of ticking a blue candidate if you like Cameron and a red candidate if you like Blair - doesn't much matter who they are, they're centrally selected, parachuted in, and...

Re:

Quoting Steveo from 12:28, 21st Feb 2007 I keep, after I was charged, a healthy barrier between where I am and the end of my funds, just incase a bill comes out that I'm not prepared for or somesuch withdrawl. If there isn't that gap, then you shouldn't have bills coming out, because you can't affo...

Re:

Quoting Steveo from 03:11, 21st Feb 2007 My banks charges were very transparent. I knew it was £30 if I strayed over that absolute limit. That's as transparent as it needs be, very. People treat the end of their overdraft as the 0 point of their account. It's pathetic. [hr] Set your goals way too h...

Re:

Quoting Captain_Spanky from 22:30, 20th Feb 2007 Well they DO make it clearly known you'll be charged over the limit, and frankly you're here at university to learn a little responsibility over your money. If they didn't charge people would go over their limits willy nilly and there'd be no point h...

Re:

Quoting Steveo from 13:12, 20th Feb 2007 I went over my overdraft limit in 2005, and got charged by the credit card company who couldn't withdraw funds. I'm not going to ask for those back, I knew they'd charge me, it was my fault. Simple fact of the matter is, you may say money is tedious, but get...

Re:

Quoting Rufus from 00:04, 20th Feb 2007 Well, Richard is branching out on his own with 'Fortune: Million Pound Giveaway' (or something), so perhaps their double-act will implode soon. I have no problems with the content of their show; they are supposed to be cockle-warming televisual fluff so I see...

Re:

Quoting Steveo from 23:31, 19th Feb 2007 I like the analogy that an overdraft is like a cliff. You know the cliff is 50 feet away, yet you run 51 feet - you deserve to plummet to your death. You know where tht overdraft is, nd what the charges are. It just couldn't be more simple. [hr] Set your goa...

Re:

The point is that it's illegal to charge any more than the estimated cost of going over your limit, and that often comes nowhere near £20. If it was legal to charge then yes papercutheart, there'd be nothing to complain about, but it isn't. Also Count Dracula, don't you think it's a bit off putting ...

Who are you?
What do you want?
Why are you here?
Where are you going?

I'm here because I was destined to see Babylon 5 here.

Well, aside from that...

Re:

Quoting Washingtonirving from 00:42, 25th Dec 2006 St Andrews has got a low number of students from low income backgrounds because it is seen as a 'place for posh people'.
