Quoting cherry-tree from 23:09, 30th Jul 2008 Pantheist starved of pagan company seeks similar! Look for Pagansoc at the fresher's fayre. The website is http://www.st-andrews.ac.uk/~pagansoc/ and it's a really fun group. Our current numbers have diminished, since most of us, including myself, have ...

If you provide the horse! I love riding, but I can't afford it here. So technically it wouldn't be my own secret, but unbelievably fun to do regardless!

Re:

After reading this thread, what has struck me is that no one seems willing to entertain the concept that scientific thought and religious beliefs can coexist. Afterall, it was the Catholic Church which had a major part in the formulation of the Big Bang theory. I cite: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/B...

Re:

Quoting Mr. Disgruntled from 08:01, 25th Jun 2006 I'm sorry. The article is unbiased. Yes, it doesn't heap praise on Wicca. That is, however, because your entire belief system is "complete bullshit." Face the facts: paganism is FALSE. 20th-century. FAKE. Um, I won't even go there. I recall a young ...

If you are already running, here's a really simple tip that will help a lot. If while you're running, you make sure to clench your stomach muscles (basically sucking in as if you're wearing something revealing and want to make sure your gut isn't hanging out!), you'll feel the difference very quickl...

Re:

Quoting exnihilo from 05:51, 23rd Jun 2006 For example, I defy any pagan who employs Isis as a totem to tell me the mysteries of her temple. You simply can't. Any more than I know what went on in the Holy of Holies in the Temple, but I don't claim to be following the rituals of the Holy of Holies i...

Re:

Quoting exnihilo from 23:46, 22nd Jun 2006 But that's the whole point. Time has NOT changed Paganism. Time wiped it out and then it was reinvented. As I've already said, I don't question the legitimacy of your beliefs (much) but I do question the lineage of them. Modern pagans are not the heirs to ...

Quoting macgamer from 00:08, 11th Apr 2006 Quoting Arashi from 01:02, 10th Apr 2006 As such, I personally abstain from judgement, of any kind, apart from the firm belief in freedom of choice as a basic human right. Relativism doesn't work, particularly when taken to its logical conclusion, which is...

Quoting Sid from 00:25, 10th Apr 2006 And also, a life is better than no life. Ok, this sentiment is exactly the problem I have with a debate on this subject. Humans are so fearful of the idea of death that we go to huge lengths to prevent it, or rather forstall it because, let's face it, we're all...

Quoting queen of scots from 21:14, 9th Apr 2006 I like herbal teas too...though not so keen on those instant ones, prefer the proper tea bags. Is that shop you mentioned the new Julian Graves shop? Guess I'm in the minority here, being a fan of fruity herbal teas. Whittard's instant teas are my favourite, particularly the Blackcurrent and Elderberry flavour. And I've only just discovered that they sell them in that new shop on Market street, next to Ottakars!!

Quoting zednettler from 11:15, 27th Mar 2006 Me 'n' Michelle are going to SiN, a goth / industrial night at the Fantasy Bar / Club Cage in Dundee on Friday 31st. It starts at 11pm, costs £4 to get in, and photo ID is required. We're getting a taxi back, which I'm guessing will be about £20 between ...

Re:

I quote you a famous linguist, who states that: 'A language is a dialect with borders and an army'. Thus, American English could be called it's own language, instead of a dialect. Were you aware that when the colonies were founded, and wealthy British citizens came to America on holiday they preferr...

What time did this alleged harrassing occur? I was sat at the table next to this man between roughly 2 - 4, and didn't hear a rude word from him.

I apologise if I seem dubious, but, well, I am... and I don't like the idea of unfounded accusations being thrown about on such a public forum.
