Quoting Paranoid from 14:39, 2nd Jul 2006
Just finished Freakonomics though, and that was brilliant! Read it in 2 days!

It's so legendary, isn't it? Keep trying to get people to read it, but I think they think I'm crazy. I really want to read the Undercover Economist now.

If we have a problem, yeah, we should ask them to stop-- but I really think people should know better than to play the dam...

I'm asking this of all SSC Debates candidates:

If you are not elected, will you stand for a position on Board of Ten? If so, which one, why and how will you attempt to implement the improvements you promised in your campaign for President?

Re:

I think one reason that prevents me from standing is that I don't actually know what any of the positions actually do (rather, what their specific remits are). I know it's my responsibility to find out, but I wouldn't know where to find the information anyway.

I also have to point out that the hecklings (and, I think, elections stuff in general) are missing from the sinner calendar. To be honest, I'd like to stand for something. But it's a bit hard to get creative about some of the positions listed (not mentioning any specifically, for fear of offending a...

I'm sure if it's a personal matter, or you're trying to schedule a private meeting with her, it's a valid means of contacting her.
