Important decision

It's not very often that vegans are faced with a situation where they can eat EVERYTHING on a menu, hence my dilemma: I am passing through Glasgow tomorrow, and so obviously I will be making a stop at MONO. I have already tried their seitan stir-fry, as well as their all-day fry-up breakfast, but I ...

In response to the original question, I'm a girl, and I never shave my legs and often don't shave my armpit hair either. I think that body hair removal in females is a most ridiculous obsession.

I also really liked Sons and Daughters. It was so cool to see that style of live music in St Andrews. Does anyone know the name of the band that played before them? I thought they were pretty good too.

Re:

Thanks for the help! I'm trying to access WebMail through telnet, but whenever I get to the part where I type (my server), this message comes up:

Could not open connection to host, on port 23: connect failed

Any ideas?

Getting back from Glasgow

I can't really stay overnight in Glasgow either, as I don't know anyone there. Does anyone know if there is some kind of late night or early morning bus or train from Glasgow?

Ceilidh?

What are ceilidh's like, and is one expected to dress any particular way for them? Are jeans and trainers ok?

Have you been in an abattoir? I have. The methods of killing a cow, for example, are humane and cause little pain or distress to the animal Torture of a dog is sadistic and sick. Meat is an excellent source of necessary amino acids and has the advantage of tasting great to me at least. [hr][s]What a...

Re:

Yep, cheese was once one of my favourite foods. When I became vegetarian and did some research, I found that my reasons for not eating meat also applied to eggs and dairy. It is not as immediately obvious how eating things like dairy products causes suffering. It's just taking something that the cow...

A brief explanation

Are there any other vegans in St. Andrews? I'd like to have a potluck dinner or something.
