I happen to agree. I do realise that this is something of a delicate issue - when they involve kidnapped children, or brutal killings etcetera they always are - but I do think there exists a horrible degree of double-standards in our press. This week the m.p's in the house of commons all wore yellow...

Quoting Rilla from 18:09, 17th May 2007 I know lots of guys who've worked as a caddy on any of the golf courses - why not try calling into one of the club houses and asking them about that? Or yeah, any number of pubs, shops and restaurants around the place. Or the careers centre has a folder still...

Quoting n01 from 10:47, 9th Feb 2007 http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/6301757.stm I find this ridiculous as a student. Airfare for me is tough enough as it is. ABSURD

that is just insanity. moreso when you consider that MDDC don't hand-out flats on a first-come-first-serve basis: they require references, hold interviews, and make decisions based on gender, age and module choice etc (even if they say they don't). those 'chilling-out' on Bell Street are taking part...

Hey guys, I hope your exams are going well. Mine have been "so so", but I had a stomach virus and missed an exam or two at the beginning.

It sounds to me as if you're unsure of how many exams you've actually missed

Quoting lauraelizabeth from 19:21, 13th Dec 2006 i'm sure that if the police helped you in anyway, saved you from a murderer or something, you wouldn't refer to them as "filth" then. it disgusts me that you would talk that way about people who do, in general, an amazing job. maybe i'm just biased. ...

Big issue, small issue, money issue, moral issue.
