Quoting flighty from 17:07, 9th Jul 2005 Damn Americans, just can't hold their drink. Methinks my former roomie is about . . . But I personally found amusing how one of the wardens had a crush on a certain young lad ever since carrying him to bed in fresher's week . . . (or how that same lad woke u...

Re:

Oh, yes, and I almost forgot-- two nominations for "Biggest/Worst Gossip":

Nomination 1: Louise Hallman

Nomination 2: Alisdair Cain

And I've seen both of them on a number of occassions just sitting in the foyer with our lovely night porters waiting to see who brings whom home . . .

My nomination for worst (not funny) drunken behaviour: Young Fiona in the D-floor toilets one evening, banging on the walls, completely incoherent, throwing jam sandwiches down the toilet, and eventually being carried upstairs bodily by four people . . . it was funny in retrospect, I suppose, though...

Re:

I think the Senior Student hecklings in which Jules and Louise had quite a few gos at each other was fairly entertaining. If there is really going to be a "Best performance in a heckling" award, it should go to Jules for pissing off the most people in the room that night.

It can be a "Brad Pitt engaged in acts of violence" night and we could have: Fight Club where he beats other men to a bloody pulp, Interview with a Vampire where he sucks the life out of people (and small animals), and Se7en because even though Mr. Pitt himself doesn't harm anyone there is still vio...

I saw the title of this thread and thought, "Oooh, my brother's name is Xander, and he is Polish." Unfortunately, this thread is not about my brother. In fact I really have no idea what this thread is about. But my brother is cool nonetheless, and I felt as though I should mention it.

Can we take showers next Friday or not?

Oh, yes, and I always wear my academic gown to the shower anyway, though singing chorals would be a nice touch. Shower singing, we should start that.

Raisin Weekend

Just curious really-- was anyone actually sequestered in the small tv room with the camp beds and plastic floor covering on Sunday? Or did the wardens have a really boring night? [On a seperate note, what kind of marker did they give us to write with-- I still can't wash it off and think I am cursed...

Re:

Here's an old one:

"Andy": I like to screw!
"Jessica": If you want something to screw, come up to my room.

(they were talking about an actual screwdriver and a set of drawers, and somehow they didn't even see the hilarity of their conversation until someone pointed it out to them)

A conversation overheard between a pair of young medics returning from lectures:
medic #1: "Do you like it in the Bute?"
medic #2: "God-- I like it in the Bute so much. You can take me in the Bute anytime you want to."
