Re:

Question to anyone else doing languages: how do we find out about distinctions we may have got in the orals? I know I got one in one of my languages but it isn't listed on the classification. Grr.

On the other hand I don't think the Uni demanded to see the letter at matriculation, I think they just took my w...

Re:

It really would also depend on what sort of music you wish to learn to sing - are you interested in operatic, choral, popular... what? and are you male or female? Officially, if you have completed grade 8 Associated Board, then you are considered technically able to teach, however, even though I did...

neither have I. And while I agree that McDonalds is hardly much worse as a visual scar on our 'traditional' little town than subway or Tescos for that matter, there are more pertinent reasons for opposition. I have now been boycotting McDonalds for over 3 years due to their very questionable environ...

Re:

What did everyone think of the choir in the ceremonies? We always face a sea of stony glares, and feel like everyone wants to throw their programmes at us... is it true or are we lighthearted relief?!

well I leave in a year but that doesn't stop me having an opinion, and knowing that the relocation of the PO inside WHSmith isn't going to be beneficial to its customers, whether or not I am forced to be one of them. Despite having signed, I'll admit I am not really in the know about why they are ar...

Re:

Yeah I don't actually have belt loops where this particular belt goes (ie my waist - don't get any odd ideas!)
I WILL use violence on any girl i see wearing it and I do have methods of identifying it so beware.

Lost Belt!

I have mislaid a narrow brown belt with a large oval brass buckle with diamanté inset that I am very fond of, so if anyone has found it please let me know!

Come to Paris with meeee!

Hi, I am a slightly mad 3rd year languages student looking for a partner to go on the Race to Paris with.
Has to be male (not my own requirement!)
Up for anything (we have to hitchike to Paris bear in mind!)
Anything else goes really!
There's also a 'Race to Paris' group on there for info.
