Re:

come along to the AGM on Wednesday 5pm, Main Bar, and you can ask him yourself. Every officer should have written a report, so if you want to find out what everyone's been up to for the past 12 months, Wednesday is your chance! AGM reports can also be found here: http://www.yourunion.net/main/contac...

Re:

yes indeed, but as far as I'm aware that's been already dealt with discipline-wise, thus there would need to be another infraction. past precident seems to suggest that getting dq'd on election day itself is highly unlikely. I've certainly never heard of it. You'll have a much longer memory than a m...

Re:

Anyone who is aware and has evidence of any major rule infrigement by any candidate should tell the EOC if they are so concerned as otherwise the EOC cannot really take action on hearsay. However, the disqualification of any candidate at this stage now is very unusual unless it is a major offence. I...

Re:

no that wasn't why i said the thread was deleted. cain hijacked a thread that was made to look like it had been originally posted by the eoc. then he used it to start posting messages that weren't of relevance to the elections. i'm assuming that's why it was deleted. my comment about random graduate...

Toasters, kettles and sandwich makers have arrived and are being marked up to be installed as we speak! They should appear in kitchens today or tomorrow, however they will disappear briefly (and legitimately) sometime next week in order to be tested as the electrician is on holiday at the moment. [h...

Re:

It wouldn't be so much as having a say, but more like offering advice. We'd have an Alumni Rep on the committee who would be there to pass information to the committee from alumni and vice versa. They could perhaps tell us about how they organised a rent-rises protest a few years ago or such. Anothe...

Chattan Alumni

So I've kind of stolen this idea from Chattanites past and modified it... What do you think of having a formal Chattan Alumni Club? Before you ask - this would be completely independent of the Union (unlike what was suggested a couple of years ago). Membership would be open to all former Chattanites...
