I got a really rubbish grade for the essay too. At the time I just thought that because it's only worth 25% of the overall grade I should just try to do well in the exam, but that's not looking too promising now either.
I'll just be glad when the exam is over and done with!

I've spent the last few hours watching episodes of Grey's Anatomy on peekvid. I've also cleaned my house, been to the supermarket, been to the library and visited the beach. I've run out of ways to procrastinate. Back to it I guess!

Does anyone have photos of the amazing waves down by the pier/east/castle sands today? Spent about an hour watching them this afternoon, before it got too cold! I didn't have my camera on me, so if anyone managed to get some shots of it I'd love to see them!

Sorry, I don't have a poem, but I just have to say that Seamus Heaney ruined AH english for me too! I ended up with the impression that he was obsessed with "the troubles" and his father. I can now never look at another Seamus Heaney poem for as long as I live. Just shows how being forced to look at...

Does anyone know what percentage of our final grade is made up from the exam? Is it like second year when it was 25% coursework and 75% exam, or is it 60/40?

Hopefully this exam is nicer than yesterdays!

I'm finishing off my 3008 essay, and I've been using Reiner's slides from lecture 5. Do I have to cite him and include the slides in my references at the end? Usually I'd look up the studies that the lecturers cite or put up, but he hasn't put up any readings for that lecture.

Oh my God! Those ASDA adverts are so bad! I have to change the channel when they come on. Have you seen the new one with them all singing on the school bus? It makes me want to kill my television.

I know it's still July, but does anyone have any idea what's happening this year? Any idea what the line up is going to be? Hopefully there is a decent act, and by decent I mean not Tiffany or Javine. I think it starts on the 16th this year, anyone know for sure?

If they do send out a confirmation email I haven't got one yet. Can't see them sending one, they're a pretty unorganised department.

The last lecture of physiological was "Mechanisms of Action Selection" but I'm pretty sure I missed it. Anyway, it says you just need to read chapter 8 of Carlson.

For the first part I'm revising two topics (don't know which yet) and hoping for the best. There's no way I can revise it ALL!

I'm going on Saturday, but I have to wait for my sister in Edinburgh to finish her exam at 12.30. She's driving us through, but I have no idea where to park...maybe one of the industrial estates nearby.
