Flexifoil Viper is an early ram-air power kite, this one is the 4m, comes complete with original bag, handles and lines. Has seen a fair bit of use over the years, not much recently and is structurally so...

Last weekend I got a direct train between Leuchars and Kings Cross, taking a little over 5.5 hours for ~£70 return with young persons (if you're smart about tickets you can get this cheaper). By the time you've got (and paid for) airport...

Re: Getting into honours subjects?

Most science undergraduates will leave with a BSc. Some (eg Physics) do direct entry into second year, study for four years and get an MSc. A 'real' masters if you like. Careful what you call a "real masters". Having done both an undergraduate masters (MMath) and a postgraduate masters (M...

Re:

I came down the travelator at around 5.30 and they were taking statements from people and had a camera and tripod out with numbered markers laid out on the pavement. There were plain clothed officers so I assume it was relatively serious. They had the street closed off with police tape as well as th...

Re:

A mountain biking Society would be great! In terms of local riding I think Tentsmuir is a bit flat... Kemback between here and Cupar has some good singletrack with a few interesting bits that the locals have built. In Fife there is some north shore on the Lomonds at Falkland. Not to mention the awes...

Re:

Laggan is only a couple of hours away and is awesome, there's glentress as mentioned, and if you're a bit of a nutter, try the freeride trail at the lomonds (falkland in fife) :) Also there's some good riding down in dumfries and galloway. None of these are exactly the glasgow area but who wants to ...
