Re: Spare Change

Well, not quite the same, but I like to take a pile of random change and feed it into the Tesco self-service machines. Brilliant idea! My windowsill is covered in coins. Me and my flatmate have amassed loads of change that we find on our floor and on shelves when we empty our pockets and forget who...

Re: P2P

I need to do 75 credits at 4000 level next semester, I wouldn't worry about it. Try and do it in second semester though - it'll be much more of a problem if you need to do in in JH... obviously if this is a pre-requesite for your intended honours you'll have to do it alongside the others..

iPhone help

Hi guys, A friend of mine recently bought an iPhone and has had some difficulty when trying to upgrade to 1.1.1... he is now trying to reinstall 1.0.2 but it doesn't appear to work at all! Any ideas? Also, this may or may not be related to manually changing service providers... Thanks in advance

Tuition - English student in Scotland

Hi all,

I'm from England and (obviously) studying in Scotland. I'm about to go in to my fourth year and thought that the tuition is paid for me by my LEA, is there anything tht I need to do? My LEA is near impossible to contact!

I started in 2004 if that makes a difference.

Excel

Hi guys, I have been asked to do some work on a database for someone, not entriely sure what at the moment but I think it is mainly organising it better and allowing a search by a variety of methods etc. I know the basics of excel - and have made simple macros in the past.... are there any resources...

Re:

Ok thank you... I have seen things like that before and that obviously varies from subject to subject. I thought that I had seen/heard somewhere that 5 = 50% or something, and an essay which was 67% was a 16.... so was wondering how tight it was. - eg whether it would need to be 100% to be a 20, or ...

20 point scale in %

Does anybody know/have a link for transfering %s ---> 20 point scale?

Is it the same across all subjects or does it vary?
