Re:

You can get a room in McIntosh...so long as they don't have a huge group staying. They do bead and breakfast in the summer.
It'll be around £30 per person per night. Don't quote me on it but it is significantly cheaper than new hall. As long as you don't mind not having ensuit.

Tesco has been getting gradually worse. I've been asked for id a few times. But one time was funny, i had just purchased wine and was talking to my friend who was using self service, she was refused the bottle of wine she was buying because i didn't have id. Crazy! I showed the woman the bottle of w...

I think i'd rather eat a bird that is more likely to be healthy. But i'm not a big fan of chicken anyway and cost is always a factor. There are still going to be the majority who would rather pay less. I agree with the 'chicken out' campaign that Free range is better but i understand that not all ca...

Dissertation Binding

I have been given loads of different information from various friends about where to go to get my dissertation bound. I was hoping that people could tell me if the university binders is actually still open, i was told it closed down, and where it would be? I was told out by the spar but that's not e...

I got a student fifestyle card, it must have been that having one of those gave me a yearly membership, instead of having to buy a monthly one. And there are different types of membership. There is a big board explaining the different types quite clearly just as you walk in, and you can ask at the d...

Re:

If you get an application form for a fifestyle card from the leisure centre and take it to the cash office to stamp to prove you are a student you can pay for a year pass of i think £35 for a gold membership. This lets you into the gym, the steam bath area with the jaccuzi, and also the swimming poo...

Islamic Studies

Hello all, I have been doing background reading for my dissertation. Which is going to be about Roman Catholic interaction with Islam. I'm going to (eventually) center my discussion on the consequences of the Papa's speech in Regensburgh around this time last year and whether this is going to have a...

96. Pull an all-nighter to get that essay finished off, whilst drinking a couple of litres of kick (or some other caffeinated drink). Decide to top it off with a dawn walk on the beach, then attend all of your lectures during the day….in which you hallucinate. Makes classes so much more interesting!...

Not sure if you'd be aware of this, or indeed if it actually matters in your case, but the protestant Bible doesn't have the apocrypha, whereas the catholic version does. http://www.sacred-texts.com/bib/apo/index.htm I believe there is reference to purgatory in one of the apocryphal books. Which is ...
