Re:

Looks like this thread is going to run and run...

Re:

It's a sad state of affairs when people are cut from their community because of an illness such as depression. I performed in a play called 'Chatroom' once, where I played a suicidal teenager, and when taking it round various schools I was shocked at the fact school kids had no idea that depression ...

Quoting Bizarre Atheist from 21:12, 14th May 2006 Hmm - this mention of Northanger Abbey and Orlando in reference to EN2002 is rather worrying. The former appeared in EN1003 and the latter in EN1004. I sincerely hope that the School of English are prepared to teach a few other books... [hr] http://...

Quoting galaxy_ripple from 17:07, 30th Apr 2006 FM1001 is alot of reading, but it is a really good course. The only thing would be your second semester, would you not have to follow on from a course you took in the first semester? i.e that would mean having to take FM1002, which is so disappointing...

Re:

FM1001 is fairly easy- you do have a fair bit of reading from the set textbook, but it's not too stressful. Plus, the 20 mark multiple choice quiz is a bonus!

Exam quotations..

Yeah you probably think I should already know this, but I'm a 1st year and a tad concerned over a particular issue. Are we supposed to quote aplenty in our exam essays, and with this, know all of the reference information. I'm an English student, if you were wondering, and a little bit confused as t...

I turn up today to pick it up, expecting to get my four hours worth, only to be told my the guy at short loans that someone already has the book that I booked. Well, well, well. He claims...
