Snap. But hey, at least in Liverpool there are still no tories! Quoting Colleen from 16:24, 2nd May 2008 Stop for a minute, and imagine Boris Johnson on your telly screens, appealing for calm after a terrorist incident. Or imagine him during the Olympics. http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2008...

I'm a girl and I don't go "all gooey" at anything, least of all Paris. It is a pretty cool city, but not as good as Madrid though. Quoting Hennessy from 13:09, 15th Mar 2008 My own experience of walking through Paris was of being accosted by hawkers, tramps and eventually prostitutes. To reach the n...

Green Energy

Just wondering what's going on with the Green energy results? Have they even been counted yet? Reminds me of last year when it was suggested to the EI campaign that we count the results of the EI opinion poll...that would have made for very accurate results...

You are very welcome to ask me about anything related to EOW. I think it's ridiculous how much this has been ignored by most of the DoR candidates.

You have not mentioned Equal Opportunities and Welfare, despite it being one of the 4 committees and covering a huge number of issues that affect students. Re:

That doesn't make any sense. You're talking about lots of different problems and confusing them all together. It sounds like you're about to suggest that the General Manager (employed by a board not elected by students) tell SRC members/officers what they should do, and direct their activities. Quot...

Re:

I'm not really sure that it's the remit of the General Manager to 'influence' the SRC with his 'vision'. Why do you think that, and why would you want to see someone who is employed to oversee the management of the building directing the future of a student representative body? Seems a strange mixtu...

Add gender and ethnic minorities members, and wahey, we're pretty much back to the beginning. Quoting Al from 00:11, 5th Jan 2008 Lid is right. The greater use of Staff-Student Council Convenors would be good for the Education Committee but not for the SRC as a whole. I'd suggest again scrapping a l...

I've worked on bars for years (in Liverpool) but never felt it necesary to throw someone out who wasn't drunk.
