Depends on how you wish to do it. I have successfully used webmail with thunderbird in three ways now, in Halls (no faffage), through vpn, which is a ruddy nuisence, though as people have said already you only require to be signed into the vpn to send mail, and my current setup where I use gmails ma...

Quoting David Bean from 01:42, 30th Sep 2007 Define 'right wing' and 'left wing', please. Left as it is, the current set of choices is meaningless. [hr] Psalm 91:7 Don't know about anyone else, but I had always assumed that 'left wing' was what the Labour party used to be (pre Blair that is,this ma...

Re:

Quoting David Bean from 15:23, 25th Aug 2007 Some student discounts are for all students, whereas others are negotiated directly with the NUS in some kind of shady back-hand deal. That's why it's important to check the advertising; if it says it's a 'student' discount and there's no small-print, yo...

Assuming that this is a legit post, and not just a hoax, then I would a)strongly suggest that you move out again as soon as possible, and b)suggest that you try speaking to Student Support Services as soon as possible (or any other advice/support agency).

I suspect that it must go down onto your police/criminal record, and that the DVLA has access to that part of the record. I do know that it is possible to recieve points on your licence for breaking some laws on a push bike!! In answer to the original post, I would reccomend getting in touch with th...

I assume that anyone living outside of St Andrews is likely to get a permit, as, having reread the email, Dr Lang does say that the University is planning to lobby Fife council etc for better public transport. I can only make the assumption that by this statement Dr Lang etc feel that the current se...

Re:

My driving instructer always reckoned that the average amount of hours required was double your age, so a twenty year old would require 40 hours. She seemed to think that the older you are the longer it will take you to learn how to drive.
