Unfortunately, the organisation from whom we were applying to get the chartermark status put the whole thing on hold due to staff changes etc so it was never officially recognised despite the progress that was made in the Union.

I think having a Trans Officer is an excellent idea. The Men's and Women's Officers are actually official but there would be no problem in proposing a new position at the next AGM, which is going to be on March the 24th, btw. I can confirm that there is no existing affiliated vegan/vegetarian society. However, there may be funds immediately available for a newly affiliated group.
