Who wants to help build a jet engine?

It's actually quite easy. It'll involve a lot of time and effort, though. So yeah, how about it? The ultimate aim is to build a working turbo-jet and bolt it onto a bike. Don't look at me like that, it's perfectly possible, the internet told me so. Do you think the internet would lie to me? Didn't t...

Wheee!

Well, I got 2 people to sign up and complete the free offer on the Mac Mini thing. But I'm also being sneaky. I've signed up myself to an offer, with a made up address, and I'm gonna do it with my Edinburgh address too. So more free DVDs on the way for me, and hopefully the Mac Mini too. Buuuut, I s...

Bonfire!

Shite, I missed the Leuchars bonfire. I used to go to it every year when I was wee, but since I started at St. Andrews I've somehow missed it. Anyhoos, anyone know of any good (and by good I mean big) bonfires going on in Edinburgh? Looks like I'll have to go to the shitty fireworks display sans bon...

He's one angry dude

http://www.ranting-gryphon.com Hey y'all, take a look at this now, y'hear? It's very funny, it's a dude ranting off about lots of stuff that pisses him off. Probably stuff that pisses you off too. Not for the easily offended, or people who don't like swearing. [hr] IMAGE:www.edit0r.com/bvh.jpg

When their eyes glow red with the horror of a thousand years of damnation, and they unleash their tenticles, trying to disembowel me and eat my living flesh. I find that a bit of a turnoff.

Tennis balls

Okay, this is a debate that has been raging between me and my lass for ages... well, the last couple of days at least. Are tennis balls yellow or green? Officially they're yellow, but I swear I see them as bright green, and so do 3 other people so far (out of about 15). So what's the verdict? Anyone...
