Re: Success prompts growth - wtf?

The email does have the ring of heavily slanted statistics about it if not absolute bulls**t. The other problem being that excess first years are having to find places in private accommodation therefore reducing the amount available for returning undergrads and postgrads. This means in true St Andre...

Re:

Just a couple of points before I head to bed. Saving the song is offensive because its associated with the I.R.A. and they killed civilians is an amazingly terrible arguement. Every army in the world has killed civilians so does that make every national anthem, associated with each nations military,...

Re:

"No terrorist connotations to be found here; no siree."

Exactly right. The song is directed against British SOLDIERS and by nearly all deffinitions activites can only be classified as terrorism if they are directed at the civilian population.

Pedantic I know but this is the sinner after all.

Re:

I think the main thrust of the arguement of those who don't find the song especially offensive goes like this though feel free to correct me if you disagree. The song itself contains no lyrics specifically encouraging violence. It tells British soldier's to "go on home" it does not advocate shooting...

Re:

Im slightly confused here guys. As far as I can see the only one possibly slightly offensive line and even then its a bit of a stretch. It seem's like people are being offended for the sake of being offended unless there are some REAL die hard jingoistic soul's out there longing for another charge o...

Re:

That's where things go a bit fuzzy as the oft used example of lung cancer can occur in non smokers and even those who live in a totally smoke free environment. How can we prove that their smoking directly caused the lung carcinoma? Even if we were to impliment such a scheme how far do we take it? Re...

Re:

Err I hate to be harsh but not to misquote anyone but are we trying to say that if the uni sent out a msg sayindg "btw avoid the guy with mutiple pistols/shotguns/smg's he may be crazy and trying to kill you that deaths/injurys could be avoided? As far as I can see this is only going to be usefull i...

Re:

Twas indeed a good laugh and I wish I had been less of a twat and remembered to send an email so i could have played as an assassin rather than a squaddie. Still it wasz kinda nice to be walking around town looking for people to kill without having to watch my back at the same time. On a mainly unre...

Re:

Hey I really should have emailed this querry in but my webmail is acting up, how unusual. Does anyone know or can our glorious umpire confirm the situation regarding ricochet hits and other such dodgey impacts?

Thought id chip in my two cents because well in a bugger like that. Firstly I had thought my attitude to sports equipment was merely my interpretation of the rule but on reflection I think I might remember a rules amendment along those lines as lets face it, does someone carrying a tennis ball deser...

Re:

Having re-read the rules they do seem to make someone carrying anything exempt but i had always taken them to mean, as our almighty ruler has stated, something so heavy/big/awkward as to make defending yourself if not impossible then extremely difficult. Lets be honest here, unless the uni plays som...

I'd go for something a tad more hardcore myself, The Thrill Kill Club. We all know we play for the adrenoline rush.

Re:

I just want to reiterate one of Franks points as it scared the hell out of me last time. Game organisers can kill assassins on the wanted list and are invincible. So actually regardless of wether or not my rubber band barrage, yes it was me since I mentioned Frank by name in my earlier post and fare...

Re:

Just thought id chip in my thoughts here even though I decided to give this round a miss. I know it can be difficult to maintain rule consistancy what with each game often having different umpires, organisers etc. However last game Frank did manage to hit me with a water pistol in my flat and when h...

Re:

I was showering with a weapon thats why im so gutted she managed to get me. I guess the weeks just took their toll on my paranoia. Still I am pleased with being able to go from sleeping to killing hitsquad faster than you can release a killer attack monkey.

Re:

I was indeed counting that one so ignoring it your maths is spot on. A bit gutted about being done in by my flatmate but on reflection since I killed her first it does have the hint of karma about it. On that note I was wondering how people felt about being killed by their house/flatmates in their o...
