Thunderbird 3 and Saintmail

Hello I recently installed Thunderbird 3 RC2 and found to my surprise that it did not work with Saintmail. When I try to log in to my account it throws the error: Invalid credentials (Failure) Login to server imap.gmail.com failed I then get the option to re-enter my password, cancel or retry. I tri...

Re: worst moments

I was about halfway through my dissertation and thinking I had another week to finish it. I then just checked a couple of e-mails from the person supervising the whole thing and noticed that instead of week 11, I had to hand it in in week 10. After panicking for about 30 mins I pulled a series of al...

Re: Webmail Spam Filters...

Not sure about a better option for deleting the filters but as I understand it, the inability to mess around with the contents of e-mail accounts means that they cannot get at any e-mails you have in your account and so have no ability to look in for malicious reasons (which I feel is good)

Re: End of the World: Zombies

this is going to make me sound a bit psycho but here goes anyway: 1) Grab my sword and shield and kill my flatmates (I re-enact so I do have the equipment to hand) 2) Phone all the reenactors I know in town to see if they are zombies. If any of them are still normal, arrange to meet up (mobile phone...

Re: Drinking vs Going Teetotal at Uni

I'll put my argument plainly and simply, it is childish to be at one end of the spectrum or the other on a constant basis, because both ways you are quite clearly losing out. Teetotal ___________________________ Happy Medium ____________________________ Pisshead ABNORMAL----------------------------...

Re: since we've got a new shiny sinner...

...I reckon it's about time we return to a sinner favourite. You all just lost. The Game. That's all I have to say for now. Actually, except to say I quite like this new site and the return of a long forgotten belt buckle post has made my night. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Game_(mind_game) In ...

Re:

Quoting househunter from 21:13, 4th Sep 2008 Does it pass the Acid tests? Seeing as it is using the Webkit rendering engine (basically the same as the one used in Safari) yes, it does. Full pass in Acid2 but 79/100 in Acid3 (vs Firefox 3 with 71/100) My main problem is there is no Linux version yet.

Re:

Been using Firefox 3 since beta 3. there do seem to be a few graphics glitches, but overall, I think it's an improvement (which is good, since my Linux distro only has Firefox 3 now anyway)
Personally, I'm fond of the 'awesome bar' but that's just my opinion

Re:

I understand that the windows software is just a supplicant so that the system can work. I really don't think that the software will work under wine - unless you have the windows network system running under wine.

just a question, what commands did you use for setting your wireless connection?

Re:

For stuff like spear and axe heads and also helmets, Get Dressed for Battle http://www.gdfb.co.uk/ is quite a good bet. On the other hand, if you are wanting something sword-like and Viking era, Paul Binns http://www.paul-binns-swords.co.uk/index.htm is one of the best. His stuff costs a bit, but yo...
