Re: Tesco

A wondergirl? Why do you ask?

I suppose I am on here for entertainment, to my knowledge I have not met anybody new by going on the sinner, I like to preserve my identity.

You though, lattesometime, could be the exception...

Re: Tesco

You know I really am impressed by the posts you've made so far, so full of wit, so many layers, just really great put downs. I just wish I could meet you in person.

I am the Wonderboy of course and my nemesis is Young Nastyman.

Latte some time?

Re: Tesco

Or you could ask for the person's phone number and talk to them by mobile if more comfortable for you.

Re: LOST: Mobile Phone and assorted numbers

Mr Walsh, have you asked at the pub if anyone handed in a mobile phone? If yes but they did not have it, did you then go and check in the beer garden yourself? If no, why not? It's where any sensible person would hand in a lost phone. People are somewhat unlikely to find a lost phone, pick it up, t...

Re: The Pope opened his mouth...

I see nothing new in what you have said that I have not addressed apart from this issue over sexual abuse. The Catholic church does not condone sexual abuse and it occured in a small minority of cases.

Re: The Pope opened his mouth...

Haunted: You have every right to complain but you are not the only tax payer. The number of Catholics in the UK is on a par with the number of Anglicans (http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/article1386939.ece). In 2005 there were 4.2 million Catholics in England and Wales alone. There are are many...

Re: The Pope opened his mouth...

The tone and the content of many of the posts made on this topic is disrespectful towards others and the Catholic church. Whatever you believe about the morality of homosexuality it should be entirely within the rights of the Catholic church to discriminate on the grounds of sexual practice. It is a...

Fight between Springsteen and Morrissey

I think it's time this was settled, two massive pop icons - your decision. To make it fair, the conditions are that both fighters are in their prime at the time of the fight, it's no holds barred street fighting, neither fighter has any weapons however nor is allowed to use any for the duration, it'...

Re: Where can I get free cotton swab?

I'm intrigued that someone couldn't afford to pay for swabs.

Or maybe the poster means he is being obstrcuted in some way from buying the swabs.

Re: Internet Explorer being duff?

That whole finger thing seems pretty minor really. Try loosing your whole arm.

My 2009 was ruined by not being able to access the Sinner for part of it.

Re: Who is the best current stand-up?

Boris can be serious when he wants to be it seems. Look at his manner in the various historical documentaries he has done. He's no fool. I don't think his humour always has ulterior motive however. He just has a sense of humour and is self deprecating. He is clearly not an out and out comedian but b...

Who is the best current stand-up?

There are a lot of stand-ups on tv at the moment and I think a poll is in order. I accept that the choice in the poll is not comprehensive. Also general comments on various commedians appreciated. Possible topics for discussion: i)why are there no funny women? ii)how often do you watch stand-up - do...
