Re: Calvin Harris anyone?

Calvin Harris does get played a considerable amount at the Bop though. Surely he'd put in a few of his own songs, seeing as how popular he is.

Re: Purdie building and Irvine Building

God, I remember 4 nine o'clocks a week in the Irvine...Good luck with the heart attack stairs. How I survived, I have no idea.

Re: Bartending??

I think they've got the form up on yourunion.net, which you can print off and fill in. I'm a barmaid whilst I'm at home, and it's so much fun!

Re:

Personally, as long as there's something on on a night, that's fine with me. Regardless, it's new stuff to the Freshers, and as long as they enjoy it, I suppose its alright...although I will miss watching the hypnotist rather than taking part in it (ohhh dear). Midori night sounds awesome, I wish it...

Re:

Run!

Well, lectures usually end 5-10 minutes before the hour, and start 5-10 minutes after the hour, giving you time to get to places...although it is a bit of a pain, I admit.

Re:

An interesting study, to say the least. I'd like to read more about what they've found out about this. As for me, I like many different genres, which means I'm creative, not creative, gentle, outgoing, reserved, and have both high and low self esteem. Which is true, in a way-I guess we all have time...

Re:

You could always just get trashed beforehand.... ...or get someone else to buy you a drink, and give them the money... ..but of course, I don't advocate this kind of behaviour... >_> _> heh. I lie. I guess it is kinda rubbish if you're just wanting a drink in the Union on a non-bop quiet night.

Re:

I was thinking a bit more about this.

If I can (if I wanted to):
*Buy cigarettes and run health risks,
*Have a child
*Get married
*Die for my country

because I'm over 18,Then I want to be able and have the right to buy myself alcohol.

And have good times :D

Re:

I think it's much more of a hassle, especially for younger students. Although the scheme isn't aimed (as mentioned before) towards more mature (in most cases, heh) students, but more towards underage drinkers, I think this would lead to a loss of business for places like Tesco and Morrisons, as well...

Re:

There's also a few anime soundtracks that have sad songs to them e.g. part of Wolf's Rain.

Some others are sad, but not tear-inducing.
