Sweater Vests

Having watched some television of late I have noticed the rise of the sweater vest on young people, notably Ant (taller one with the large forehead) and Steven Mullhern from their respective Britain's Got Talent shows. Does this mean that they are no longer the reserve of the older generations and w...

Re: What happened to canvassing?

Sam Roberts who is going for AU President managed to track down the rifle club to discuss his plans, I think he's been round other clubs as well. Much rather that than him turning up on doorsteps trying to find the athletes of St Andrews. Not heard of anyone else going round houses or societies thou...

Re: father christmas

I was shocked this morning on my daily news trawl of procrastination to discover that the BBC and the Catholic Church are also of the mind that Santa doesn't exist. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/7798480.stm Apparently it was his duty to set the record 'straight'. This is clearly ludicrous ...

Couldn't have people beating me. 184! I should probably start revision now, I clearly have too much free time.

Holyfield Vs valuev

Anyone know if this is on anywhere in St Andrews? Now that term is semi-over I feel that I could stay up for a fun fight night.

Re: These people are mad

It took me some hard internet searching but I found out some things, and as such have probably been added to many more government lists. http://thewhiterealist.net/showthread.php?s=b04d6ea4fe0aae54a23315b0a2478f76&t=22099 The girls have some material for a new cd but we dont have studio time set...

Re: Who is that girl?

Bring along a clipboard with estate agent stuff on it and pretend you work at Eve Brown. Ha. A clipboard with estate agent stuff on it would set you well ahead of Eve Brown. Just draw a picture of a house, preferably in brown crayon and with at least three misshapen windows, and then set fire to it...

Re: These people are mad

"The angry father, who was wearing a pair of black boots that he claimed were Second World War German artefacts" He has to resort to wearing artefacts that clearly belong in a glass case at the very least and yet he can afford to have swastikas professionally iced onto his baked goods? Th...

Re: P2P

I sat 80 credits worth of modules in semester one of my second year. As long as you choose something that you're relatively good with or interested in then its fine; all you need to do is pass it. Your other grades might slip a little since your workload will be higher but in second year you don't r...

Re: Boy

Maybe, just maybe, he was the final student to be served before short loan changed to its new format? Then its taken the lady in question some months to remember all the finer details, such as him having hair, and post here?

Spooks

Saw a trailer a few minutes ago on bbc1 saying that it was the Spooks finale (episode 8) at 10pm tonight, in Scotland only. The website claims that its not episode 8 tonight but episode 7 instead.
Anyone know which ones right?

Re: Raisin Sunday sightings

A student in handcuffs just down from White Stuff being held up by two police officers. Two more cops 'talking' to another student in the door way.
And all before 6.

Re: End of the World: Zombies

A) Wake up. Go to sports corner, grab two bats. Take care of Philip (housemate not step dad). Have a cup of tea (Yorkshire preferably) Get to the guns. Head to Whey Pat. Drink beer till my reactions are slower than the zombie's. Die in futile fight. B) Wake up. Go to sports corner, grab two bats. Ta...

Re: Heroin in St Andrews

Once I was drunk and a heroine saved me from a shower of doom. This has nothing to do with your topic but i thought it worth a mention.
