Re: Return Bus Fare to Edinburgh?

It's £11.50 return with a student card (£12 without), and the return is valid for 28 days after purchase. I never thought the buses in Fife were that bad, they're a lot cleaner and more dependable then what we have in Edinburgh. But yeah, a lot of them could use more leg room, and £11 is mega expens...

Re: Condoms at the union

You can also get them from the lovely ladies in Student Support, on the second floor. Usually get about 10, I think, but sometimes they bombard you with them! Maybe it depends on how promiscuous you look that day... And yeah, the blueberry ones rule! *edit: And they usually ask you what you want, so...

Job Hunting

I'm aware I've left it pretty late, but I am planning to try and find a part-time job for the academic year. Wondering if anyone has an opinion on whether it would make any difference to my chances (especially with the jobs in the careers centre) to move to St Andrews in the middle of next week, rat...

Re: 60+ students occupy uni building in protest

You may disagree with me, but for a University of our calibre to have such a protest one would surely expect more than just a little snippet from the PA, perhaps coverage at least in the Herald, Scotsman and P&J and BBC local pages. http://www.theherald.co.uk/search/display.var.2490148.0.sitin_...

Albany advice

Hey all. Just wondering if anyone knew what the situation for returning students applying to Albany Park is likely to be like next year. I'm in Melville this year, and feel in need of a change for 09/10, but since Fife Park will be gone I'm gussing there'll be more applications then spaces. Will be ...
