Re: 50NL hand

Sorry, I meant timebank/bet trn obv.

If you suggest c/r here, then villain must be doing this with worse hands for value, but I don't think its all that likely.

50NL hand

Ok I know I said I'd make a video, but I couldn't get the dual commentary to work, so I'm going to post one of the more interesting hands here, that yielded about 30 mins of discussion for me and Adam. No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (5 handed) - Hold'em Manager Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com Hero...

Re: Losing more by calling with the 'winning' hand.

Quite a few of the casino's have a policy in which they don't rake chopped pots btw.

Re: Losing more by calling with the 'winning' hand.

Interesting. Does the SBs $99 get raked as well or not? That would be hilarious if you fold and he loses $5 to rake.

Re: 50NL - Bottom Set Multiway

I'm 99% sure he never has the straight here. I don't think he's ever calling pre with J8.

I also think he's most likely going for a c/r with a hand like QdJd.

I hate my life...

50NL - Bottom Set Multiway

SB is 13/10/2.7 over 63 hands. Seems to play pretty straightforward so far. UTG is a pretty standard TAG for this game. No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed) - Hold'em Manager Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com Button ($10) SB ($76.70) BB ($55.10) UTG ($63.50) Hero (MP) ($56) CO ($24.85) Preflop ...

Re: 2009 results / 2010 goals

Thanks for the offer Tony, I've only really had any experience playing 6max cash, so I wouldn't be a good horse to stake for HU. I'd like to play 50NL on my own dime if possible, but I might need to make withdrawals in the summer to pay for shit, so I could be interested later. I'll let you know. Oh...

Re: 100NL river spot

I think the board is too draw heavy to check back turn with a monster against a player with no history. I think we'd miss too much value here.

2009 results / 2010 goals

I can't be bothered to type it all again so I'm just pasting from my blog: 2009 was my first year playing online poker seriously, and I'm pretty happy with the progress I've made from my initial $50 deposit back on Jan 2nd 2009. I definately should be playing higher, and my bankroll should definatel...

Re: 100NL river spot

This isn't our percieved range in this spot... We always bet turn with Ax, so it's not in our range. We always bet turn with 55-77 We always bet turn with 89,56 etc etc etc.. Our calling range on the river is: Kx hands, 7x hands, 6x hands (we probs fold bottom pair) Tbh he's behind our calling range...

Re: 100NL river spot

Yeah you make a fair point, I'm not sure how thinking a player this guy is so not sure if our percieved range can be considered in such depth...
