I currently am looking for a place to live in St Andrews (or, if I am unlucky enough, in one of the nearby villages/towns) for the next academic year. I am an undergrad entering my third year, make little to no noise and my neighbours will most likely think I am dead for most of the time. I am willi...
http://www.beatcontrol.co.uk/images/P/KeyRig_49.jpg (^ not the actual keyboard, but one of the same model) I used it just a couple of times, but due to space constraints of student accommodation it involved rearranging all of my desk space, so I am selling this wonderful midi keyboard in great cond...
Uhm, any ATM would accept a card from a foreign bank as long as it is a Visa/Mastercard or one of their derivatives. The charges are present, but are not that bad. My bank, for example, charges around 2 to 4 pounds per transaction.
Well, I think I still officially am a 4th Degree Technician in Russia, which means that I can solder stuff together with an iron and do some more technical stuff, however I am afraid that I will, as always, mistake one wire for another, make it all look ugly and beyond repair (that happened already)...
By the way I am pretty serious about doing wedding photography for free (well, as long as it does not affect my studies much). I am not that much of a professional photographer, but I sure know how to make boring technically near-perfect photographs — just what every wedding needs.
Unfortunately it's not the plug: it's the cable wear at the triangular thingie that connects all the cables. Partially caused by the wires twisting all the time and me being too lazy to fix it on every occasion.
My trusty Grados SR80 are fine, but the left channel on the cable sometimes stops working, which can only mean that it's been worn out at the place where two mono cables become one stereo one. Unfortunately I am too unaware of the market to buy a new wire and too sloppy to actually recable anything....
If you are into photography then the town and surrounding areas offer plenty to shoot. Can't say I've seen too many photographers out and about when I've been carrying my gear. There is apparently a local society though which has a website at http://www.standrewsphotographicsociety.com/ where you s...
That's one obstacle, but it isn't insurmountable. We could define niceness perhaps in terms of a (foreseeable) positive imbalance in your actions between the utility you gain (or lose) and the utility someone else gains. If we could define utility. One problem is timeframe. If I got a day without d...
Tunneling is only a useful suggestion if the OP knows how to do it, or how to find out how to do it, and has a suitable server to do it with. And if they're asking on the Sinner, then chances are slim. There are tons of easy to use solutions with a nice client and server you have to pay for. In fac...
I would have been playing WoW if my computer wasn't in such a bad state. Oh wait, I still play sometimes. In DRA! And it doesn't really distract me at all. Awesome, isn't it?
Whilst I'm fairly well caught up on the literature on intelligence testing, how do you propose measuring niceness? I assume you don't mean strict equality when you talk about 'equally nice', but how wide are your error bars (if that's not a personal question)? I think that measuring niceness can be...
