Re: CENTRAL ROOM WANTED 2012-13

I'm also a second year female looking for a cheapish central place for next year. I love to cook as well, and believe it's so much cheaper and more sustainable to share food and cook and eat together rather than doing it all separately, what do you think!?

Hannah :)

Room available in St Andrews!

I am currently looking for a housemate for a place in Younger Gardens, it's in a really nice location, and it's right at the end of the park, which is lovely to walk or cycle through, and there are also buses if needed. Re: St Andrews to London Transport Suggestions

People always forget the amazing overnight train! It leaves from Leuchars and you get to sleep happily and wake up all refreshed for your arrival in London in the morning. :) http://www.scotrail.co.uk/caledoniansleeper/index.html Could probably get cheaper deals through the travel agents in St Andre...

Re: What's the number of bus from St-andrews to Edinburgh?

X59 or X60 you can look on the stagecoach website for times. Ends up in the bus station in Edinburgh. Takes more than 3 hours though I think, however, scenery is rather nice. :)

Re: Class Experience

Yeah, money doesn't really have much to do with this argument. I'm Scottish and I know plenty of others too who become angry when people talk/text/play on facebook in lectures. This comment will probably infuriate many when I say this, but I have experienced this problem much less in the scientific ...

Student ambassadors

Hey, I was just wondering how one becomes a student ambassador, I have looked everywhere on the University website to try and get some useful information on this but alas can only find out about what they do, not how to become one...

Any advice is greatly appreciated,
Thanks.

Re: Comprehensive Gown Info Thread

A lot of people wear them in Sallies to dinner on a Thursday night, and then go to the Byre to the Jazz night in their gowns too.

Also good to wear gowns at the St Salvator's Chapel Sunday morning service or the Pier Walk.
