One thing I have always noticed about CSTPV is that the info/sign-up meeting is not very well advertised - I nearly always missed it so make sure u keep your eyes out for it - usually a poster in the library.

When you do a year abroad you get ECTS credits to transfer to St Andrews credits.

But from friend's experiences there is no way that the Uni will accept credits from another institution unless arranged by them (year abroad).

- Which year were you in? Second, Thrid and Fourth - How did you get involved? I went along to the info session at the beginning of the year, signed up and had an interview. Subsequent years I didn't have an interview (still needed to fill out the application though) - Was it dependent upon your mod...

I think it is a bit tacky...makes me cringe when I hear it!

I agree that it is a great idea to have a non-news based student publication...but the idea in this case has been executed particularly badly. I cross my fingers for the magazine that some people with talent, wit and less arrogance might sign up and turn the idea around....but I expect this first is...

I can't believe that no one has mentioned Taste. They make great coffee and you can actually taste the coffee in a latte rather than just the steamed milk in Costa. Granted it is small and no-smoking but it's perfect for coffee on the go.

It was my flatmate that supposedly stripped to win the money...she didn't. She just did a circuit of the dance floor once in her bra and hotpants. Worth it really as the GIG boys gave her $500 for doing it and now she is going on an all expenses paid trip to Prague!

or you could go to Fresh Looks on Bell Street - i think they do them there. Or the Old Course...it's not too expensive there either.

I completely agree with you, it seems that the people that post on this message board take every opportunity to start 'yah - bashing' as you put it. It makes me think about the possible reasons behind it - could it be jealousy of some sort? I'm not saying that it is, but the reason why you generalis...
