Re:

i suppose it shouldn't surprise me but a H&S guy coming round late on and banning stands that have been used safely in many photos for many halls seems crazy. the university as a whole never seem to appreciate the efforts of hall committees and the things they do. I guess its also unsurprising that ...

Dunhill Three Legged Pub Crawl

So that you all know, this year's three legged pub crawl will be on the Saturday of the Dunhill weekend, 9th October. Traditionally it has taken place on the Friday but with the KK Opening Ball, we thought Saturday was best.

Dhwani will provide more info soon...

Re:

We're discussing recent events in Hall at the committee meeting tomorrow, then will be meeting the wardens, then meeting Isobel Clifford. It's not just simply a question of walking up to them and saying "We want parties" although the new sign-in policy for guests is at best unworkable. As far as me ...

Re:

I've spent most of the summer so far just lazing about. Partly in St Andrews, partly at home, watching sport on tv. Had a couple of interviews for quality jobs that almost went my way but will be back working at the golf club, practically outside my back gate, possibly starting tomorrow. Right now I...

Hey Colin. Andrew Caldwell is making a website for us over the summer, hopefully going to be up and running before Fresher's week. Re:

I know what people mean about being back home. Arguments on a daily if not hourly basis, work placement fell through last minute and few of my friends from home seem to be back at the moment. Still, might escape to live with my bro' in Glasgow for a bit. Anyone want to give me a job??!

Re:

on that subject, does anybody know what time halls open?

i was told the hall i'm going to (Chattan) opened at 2pm, and that's when it opened when I started 1st year so I guess it'll be the same. Think it said the time on the rules bit of the contract, not that I can find the sheet...
