Re:

Yep, there's that attention to detail again:

"With attentive but non-intrusive service, guests can choose from...with outstanding cuisine or...for chic and informal dining. " (sic)

And did anyone spot that 3 of the 4 photos on the "location" page weren't of St Andrews?

Re:

The hypnotist sold out both shows last year, and some people insisted on being in the audience, even if they had to stand. Seated capacity was exceeded, and they crammed as many people in as the venue capacity would allow. Same for the comedians. Three hypnotist shows this year - I reckon all three ...

Re:

How can you have "a bit gutted".

I would have thought that "gutted" means devasted. You can't be a bit devasted.

Surely that's akin to saying "it was a bit razed to the ground so that nothing was left standing"

Are the minutes for the SRC/SSC meetings still put online?
I wouldn't expect them to be up already (the meeting was only last night after all), but when should we expect to see them?

If it has flashing lights and makes noises, you should be pretty safe.

Alternatively, go for something like Lego or K'Nex. Meccano's a little expensive these days, but you can get some sweet deals with the more modern toys on eBay these days.

Re:

£23 doesn't just buy a new key.
It also pays for the extra time spent getting the key cut when the member of staff would have been doing other things in the office.

Time is money and all that.

Did you take photos of your room when you moved in? Did you bring any damage to the attention of the management when you moved in? Have you any way to prove that the stains on the carpet weren't caused by you? Unfortunately, if you simply tolerated the condition of the room when you arrived, then th...

Re:

Redirecting mail takes quite a bit of time, especially if you have to look up the address of the person in question. The halls have no obligation to forward mail if you're not living there, so if you have received forwarded mail, you're lucky! If you're expecting something to be delivered to Melvill...

I don;t think you can call Gregor Fisher "one of the stars of the movie" perhaps he's a vague "star" [i]in

If he is a star, in the film, then surely he is ONE OF THE STARS OF THE FILM.

He won't kill himself. That would be great for his popularity, but he wouldn't be able to appreciate it. It will be a trick. Probably a very good one. The key to performing magic though is to believe that it's magic as you're doing it. Otherwise you're just seen to be doing a trick, not performing m...
