There's been a lot of ideas and suggestions mentioned in this thread, however I cannot act on them unless they are presented to me formally. If you have any comments or things you would like to change with any of the entertainment or services the union provides, please either email me or book an app...

Any other feedback?

Please allow me to point out that the Graduation Ball is a joint project between the Students' Association and the University. I (and my successor) welcome all feedback regarding the ball, but it might help you to know who was responsible for what. Students' Association's responsibilities: Entertain...

Re:

The Glasgow based universities have the luxury of still being in session and a market of over 40,000 students.

I was asked if I wanted it, but this town is empty.

During the week, members can sign in up to two guests until 11 pm (cost is 50p). The guest should have ID. For weekends, the guests should be signed in by 4:45 on Friday and the cost is £1 for the whole weekend. Side note: I always take out my matric or staff card and get the piss taken out of me fo...

I responded in such a way, asking them to see me or Phil, because several people asked whom should those who wish to make a complaint go and see.

To have the magical ability to think or say or somehow describe exactly what I want and then for it to happen. We don't want one of those fable-type lessons we all learned as a kid, like when the couple asked for more money and then the door bell rung and a police officer said that their son was in ...

Quoting thackary from 15:45, 24th Apr 2005 Would probably have to see Visceral again to fully work out what was going on... There may be a perfectly logical reason why you don't remember much of some of the later films. Note to self: don't sit next to Oli when he's got something special in his bag....

And is that a picture of the Norwegian whatever? It may be, but it's not made clear in your post.

Quoting the racing tortoise from 17:46, 22nd Apr 2005 ...The most annoying thing however is that i decided a while ago that i would ask her out the first time we were alone but we always meet when she is with her friends. Asking someone out i can do but asking someone out in front of their friends....

Re:

It doesn't work for me and I'm only a few offices down!

Wow, I'm sad. I COULD just go and talk to him,

well, not really, look at the time.

And he really can't dance.

But we love him anyway.

Re:

Lifetime membership gets them and their signed-in guests much more easily than trying to get themselves signed-in. And technically, guests cannot purchase anything in the building because they are not members. Plus, if you were having a nostalgic trip, would you want to stand out in the freezing col...

Re:

You can buy a life membership. £10. Just go to the General Office on the middle floor between 9:30am and 4:30pm.

Then a life member can sign in 2 guests. You can sign them in before 11pm except for on weekends when you have to sign them in before 4:45 on Friday.

Students could force me to ban it (through a quorate referendum). However, through studying the experiences of ...

things to consider: 1. The last one was done by the police, as you know because you were there, and they supplied a lot of the fun. So, where are you going to get the alcohol? If it's a charity event, you know who to see about arranging stuff etc. 2. The Union does have some lots of random things li...
