Re:

I haven't seen it yet. But a little trivia bit for you, the folks responsible for the animated sequence are none other than Production I.G. of Ghost in the Shell and Blood: The Last Vamprie Fame (among others). Re:

To be honest, I didn't think as much of Hellsing as Per and others thought of it. It was intriguing, but the way they developed it was patchy. The animation as well was very patchy at times - some parts were very well animated, and showed a lot of detail, but it got progressively worse as the series...

Re:

I hope the social efforts this year turn out well. Our experiements to make the society a more sociable place (circa 2000 - 2001) were not very successful at that time. We'd have pub nights, and some of the committee plus two or three others would show up. Perhaps this years' members like to drink m...

I don't know of any other animation studios/figures that are involved with music videos, but I'm sure they are out there. Though if you see some of the fan-made anime music videos, a lot of them are quite cool. Yamato is a space battle ship. It flies through space and I guess the people on baord kil...

Aliens (or possibly not) attack Tokyo. These are called Angels. For some reason only 15 year old kids can pilot the giant robots that have a chance of beating the angels. Explosions. Death. Spirited Away wasn't my favourite Miyazaki, but it was certainly good. I haven't yet watched a Miyazaki/Studio Ghibli film that I haven't enjoyed on some level. They are all varying levels of good, in my opinion. Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind is still my favourite, followed closely by Laputa: C...
