Re:

Furthermore the reason why its name changed from iMovieFest to CampusMovieFest , even though the whole point is to edit the films using the user-friendly iMovie software, is simply because many more important sponsors were brought onboard over the past few years. And while yes... we are not a campus...

Re:

There we go, registration seems to be working smoothly now. Just ignore the old 'choose your state' bit until it gets taken off.

Hope you enjoy the festival peeps! Should be exciting to see what the difference in movie themes will be in November/December as opposed to April/May.

CampusMovieFest 2005 starts Nov 28th!

One camera. One computer. One week. 5 minutes! That's right. The event that many of you have been waiting for is finally back, and kicking off on Monday, November 28th. A more detailed article should hopefully be up on The Sinner within days. Until then start brainstorming those great movie ideas, f...

Regular meetings on Saturdays until the end of the semester (except Friday Nov 25th), 6-8pm in the Salad Bowl. The society e...

Always lovely when you can spot a friend in online video clips... I'll have to give him a beating (pun intended) for not telling me about this sooner.

Gideon Defoe is hi-larious. I read his book "The Pirates! In an adventure with the Scientists" this summer, and couldn't stop laughing.

Re:

Glad you all enjoyed it or are interested in seeing it. Now.... get yerselves the boxset! As Paranoid said, the 9-strong cast works so much better in its TV series format as it allows for so much more characterisation (Serenity in all honesty is really only River and Mal's story). Once again it's no...

Oh and Bryn, is the pre-party sorted? I'll bake brownies! Hmmm... and yes that was me by the way. Silly unregistered posts. *grumble* Anyway the screening was fab, and other fans were passing brownies and champagne around. Good times. Anyway, onto the movie itself. As a fanboy, while the film is no...

As you can all see, there is a clear proportionate relationship between the rise in crime and that of masturbation.

Scandinavia vs. Nordic

I was at the Societies Committee meeting when they were affiliated. As affiliation is always meant to serve as an open heckling, I questioned whether the society would be better under a different name if it intended to include the generally comparable Nordic countries. Just to be more welcoming to t...
