Re: Sinner Flyers!

You should have them now Paul - they're in the flyer rack of the cinema on North Street, along with all the other free postcards.

I can't help but think that if you find Pendulum 'euphoric', then you're less of a human.

I'm sorry, i'm sure you're not. But I can't help it.

What a ridiculous thing to say.

Anyone else finding that the internet is very slow at the moment?

Pages take ages to load, and many sites just time-out.

Anyone else, or is it just me?

And what's that supposed to mean?

You really think that Frankie Boyle would make a decent Rector? Honestly? Come on.

Re:

If you do opt for wood, you should try to get a good hardwood, as softwoods such as pine tend to burn way too quickly, and spit burning embers into your living room when you least expect it. You don't get the same intense heat from wood as you do from coal, but then you don't have to clean your chim...

Re:

With a bike, you shouldn't have a problem at all.

The whole town is merely two miles wide, and that includes all the residential area.

Maths to biology is approx 0.6 miles (1km), so you should be fine.

Re:

I've seen a place that has Master Key A, Master Key B, Master Key C etc.

If there's a door that Master Key A opens but Master Key B doesn't, surely that means that they're not actually master keys. They're just keys.

Re:

Yes, it was a good shop. If you asked for a screw, they'd invite you into the back of the shop. Haha.

It's being replaced with "Wilson's Wynd", which looks very nice from the artist's impression.

Re:

Have you tried http://www.scottishcoal.com/ ? They're selling at £105 per half tonne and £200 per tonne of mixed coal. You may prefer to go for trebles (3-5 inches), as they'll burn better. Whichever size you go for, make sure it's good quality coal, with minimal rock content (no point paying for st...

I think they visit throughout the year - I don't know if September is a particularly good time of year to see them, and a brief Google search doesn't seem to offer any conclusive answers one way or the other.

Re:

If it's an option for you, that's not a bad bit of advice from Bizarre Atheist. If you can't take a year out, then sort out your accommodation as best you can from over the phone, and make sure you bring a sleeping bag with you so that you can crash at a mate's house either in Freshers' week or any ...
